BUG Foundation for Street Children

Your Fuel, Wherever You Are, with BUG Mobile Fuel Delivery Solution!
Enriching lives, empowering the next generation!

At BUG it is our mission to help impoverished/street children by exposing them to brighter opportunities: this will help them make informed decisions about their future, through nurturing and mentoring to aid in their placement into the right fields to secure a better future.

We also understand that not all may have the intellectual capacity to branch into occupations such as doctors, engineers, architects etc but may be gifted with their hands in vocations such as painters, mechanics, brick/mortar laying and the like.
BUG will continually engage in the provision of basic needs, education, healthcare, and mentorship programmes to nurture, direct and lead every impoverished child into the right profession and vocation to better equip our communities and country.

To give every impoverished child a springboard towards the process of preparing for their future.

Children on the street most often than not have to participate in work to support their home to provide basic needs, without which can be detrimental to them. Aside having to work, engagement in unhealthy activities and exposure to the wrong company could lead to the destruction of a child’s future.
Many of the children on our streets are extremely ambitious and goal driven, which are characteristics they have had to acquire to survive the streets. A lot of them have big dreams and careers they would love to pursue for their future if they had the financial means to do so. Given the right support to channel their energy and aspirations, be it through formal education or vocational schools, they will be an important contribution to our communities and the country at large in the future.

At Black United Group(BUG) we believe every child deserves a chance to succeed in life. Therefore, part of our proceeds is put towards taking children off the streets and into the right setting in addition to educating impoverished children. This is to help reduce the exploitation of children for labour to allow them to enjoy their youth and prepare mentally, physically, and emotionally to face the world.
Looking at our communities now, a lot of children are dropping out of school, not only because of financial hardships but also because of the lack of encouragement and the importance to acquire knowledge; to put them in a better position to face the future. They are rather being drawn to get rich quick schemes which are not very viable and beneficial to the country as this may result in the lack of skilled workers across all fields in years to come.

Children from impoverished backgrounds such as remote villages lack education, resources and understanding which may put them in a vulnerable situation at some point in the future, in dealing with the management and negotiation of the little resources available to them, especially when this generation has passed.
We at BUG have made it our priority to provide children on the street with their basic needs such as food(water), clothes, shelter, education, healthcare, and not limited to the afore mentioned but every support needed to allow a child to grow and enjoy their childhood and not having to take on adult responsibilities.
With the support provided by BUG, we hope to put them in a better position to discontinue that cycle of life on the streets and the lack of education: for themselves and their family in the future.
